I’m not interested in peak moments. I’m interested in what lasts.
The experiences here are built around one idea — what stays with you after the noise and hype fades.
Some people need Movement. Others need stillness.
Both are valid.
Both are available here.
What matters is choosing the one that fits where you are right now.
nomadic journeys
Long crossings done on foot, in intimate groups.
Movement as the empowering force.
They’ve been documented in award-winning films.
Not because they’re extreme, but because they show something quietly rare: people carrying difficulty together and growing from it.
Removing competition changes the dynamic completely.
Effort is still real. Fatigue is still real. But without hierarchy, people relate differently — to the terrain and to each other.
Watch one here
People often arrive focused on whether they’re capable.
They leave talking about the group they shared the crossing with.
The Great NOrse Run Iceland
Watch the trailer
Ten days moving across the land of fire and ice.
Glaciers, rivers, volcanic ground, long daylight hours. Some days feel endless. Others pass quickly. Hot springs appear when you least expect them.
The Great Silk Run Tajikistan
Watch the trailer
Seven days through remote regions and high mountain roads.
Long climbs. Wide valleys. Village homestays. Simple food. A steady rhythm that builds day after day. Hospitality and shared effort shape the experience as much as the landscape.
INTIMATE RETREATS
Small gatherings in one place.
Stillness as the empowering force
After years of working with groups in motion, a different experience became necessary.
The retreats are held in one place, with fewer people, and without a schedule to complete. There’s nothing to optimise and nothing to get through.
Days unfold around simple things: cold water, food prepared together, time outside, conversations that take as long as they take. Some days include movement. Some don’t.
This work doesn’t reward urgency. It asks for attention.
The cabin
Norway
A few days in deep nature with a small group.
Fire. Cold swims. Foraged meals. Home brews.
Runs, walks, skiing — if and when it feels right.
The aurora overhead. The fairies, very much present.
This is a newer offering and places will be limited.
Join the Waiting List
If it’s meant for you, you’ll want to know when it opens.
Different formats.
Same intention.
Whether through sustained movement or sustained stillness, the work is the same: creating conditions where people can drop the mask, feel what’s actually there, and move forward with more honesty.
If one of these experiences calls you, you’ll know which door to walk through.
